Our Services

  • I provide ad hoc dog walker, cat care and pet care home visit welfare services in the Oldmeldrum, Tarves and Fyvie areas.

  • Dog walking can be private (up to 6 of your own dogs) or mixed pack (up to 4 dogs from other clients).

  • I poo pick!

  • I am fully insured with clear basic certificates from both Disclosure Scotland and the Disclosure and Barring Service.

  • I have long-standing experience with a multitude of pets and livestock management including feline diabetic support, CDRM and canine dementia.

  • Out of hours cover may be available by negotiation.

  • I aim to return your dog fit, healthy and relaxed after our walks and for that reason:

    • I always have a meet and greet session with a dog prior to agreeing to it joining a pack walk to assess fitness and fit with other ‘pack’ members as well as obtaining full relevant health details of dog including emergency contacts.

    • All dogs booked for "pack" walks will have the same vaccination status (see note below).

    • All dogs are muzzled during our walks.  “Dogs will be dogs” and a well-fitted Baskerville type muzzle controls any risk from inappropriate foraging, stick chewing, or an accidental brush from a stray tooth during play!  A muzzle also prevents any false accusations that your dog bit something/someone else during its walk minimising the risk of dogs being taken into custody if things go catastrophically wrong.

    • All dogs must be identichipped, with the owner details registered, and wear a collar with ID tag bearing owner name, address and postcode.

    • In season bitches will remain on leash and will not be walked with unneutered dogs.

    • In the event that I believe an animal in my care may be endangered by a walk, for example due to weather, health condition etc, I will cut short the walk and return the animal(s) home.  No refund will be given in these circumstances, but I will endeavour to let the owner know and ensure the animal is safe at home.

  • In an emergency, I will contact a vet, without consulting the owner if necessary, and the owner indemnifies all associated costs.  I will contact the owner as soon as reasonably practical once the animal is receiving emergency treatment required.

  • Bookings can be made online, with payment through all regular means.  If bookings conflict (e.g. an unvaccinated dog is booked to a group where others are vaccinated, I shall contact the owner to amend the booking).  As bookings are free-form, it is not possible to automate this aspect at this time.

  • VAT invoices produced as standard.
